CD1 – Original Album
30th Anniversary Edition of the multi-platinum Whitesnake album ‘1987’ newly remastered by long-time Whitesnake mastering engineer, Dave Donnelly of DNA Mastering.
CD2 – Snakeskin Boots [Live On Tour 1987-88]
Recorded on their 1987-88 World Tour, this is the first time a concert from this tour has ever been officially released.
CD3 – 87 Evolutions [Demos and Rehearsals]
We have been lucky enough to gain access to David Coverdale’s own personal collection of cassettes and tapes that was used to record initial ideas for what eventually became the “1987” album. A unique and personal insight into the writing, development and rehearsing of the bedrock of Whitesnake's catalogue; the songs themselves. This intimate illustration gives an exclusive snapshot of how those songs germinated and developed, from loose, rough and ready ideas, into fully formed arrangements.
CD4 – 87 Versions
Kicks off with four brand new remixes made especially for this set, followed by four tracks from their Japanese “1987 Versions” mini-album, including 1987 re-recorded versions of ‘Standing In The Shadows’ and Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac classic, ‘Need Your Love So Bad’. This disc ends with the 1988 radio mix of ‘Here I Go Again’ and the single version of ‘Give Me All Your Love’.
All four hit videos from the album are featured; Still Of The Night, Here I Go Again, Is This Love and Give Me All Your Love -  all restored with pristine, 5.1 sound. Also included are a half hour documentary of the making of the album based on a new interview with Whitesnake’s founder, David Coverdale, and the DVD is completed by a new video for the 1988 radio version of ‘Here I Go Again’, plus rare footage of the band on stage performing ‘Crying In The Rain’ and ‘Still of the Night’.
